This one isn’t a tour. I put it together just before MSC World America arrived in Miami for her inaugural sailing on April 12, 2025, to run through all the restaurants that were announced as coming to the new flagship. It covers everything from casual tacos and burgers to the first ever Eataly at Sea.

Key Takeaways

  • Ola Tacos and Cantina was announced with Latin street food like tacos, fajitas and nachos, plus margaritas and tequila flights.
  • The casual all you can eat buffet was set to offer pasta, salad, stir fry and desserts, with floor to ceiling windows looking out at the ocean.
  • Kaito Sushi makes rolls, nigiri and sashimi right in front of you, and Kaito Teppanyaki brings the hibachi tables with chefs cooking steak, seafood and fried rice.
  • Butcher’s Cut, a returning favorite on many MSC ships, was coming back as an American style steakhouse with cuts of beef, bold red wines and handcrafted cocktails.
  • World America was announced as the home of the first ever Eataly at Sea, with fresh pasta, cheeses, cured meats and Italian wines.
  • A new Greek specialty restaurant was planned with dishes like grilled octopus, spanakopita, lemony lamb and village salads.
  • Luna Park Pizza and Burger was billed as a casual grab and go spot with cheeseburgers, fries and pepperoni pizza.
  • The main dining room was set to serve a rotating menu of international favorites with a heavy Mediterranean influence.

Good to Know

Keep in mind this video was made before the ship sailed, so it’s based on what MSC announced at the time. Menus and venues can change once a ship is actually in service, so check what’s on board for your sailing.

If you want a mix of free and specialty dining, the preview had a little bit of everything: the buffet and main dining room for everyday meals, quick bites at Luna Park, and reservation spots like Kaito Teppanyaki, Butcher’s Cut and the new Greek restaurant.

Eataly at Sea was the big headline. If you’ve ever been to one of those sprawling Italian marketplaces on land, it was announced as that same idea, all about fresh pasta, cheeses, cured meats and wine.
