Today, Carnival Cruise Line’s highly-anticipated new flagship, the Carnival Celebration, arrived in Grand Turk, making its first port of call in the Caribbean. The ship is currently on its inaugural voyage, a special six-day Thanksgiving cruise.

“Bringing our new flagship to Grand Turk as its first Caribbean port of call is truly an honor,” says Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line. “Grand Turk is a beloved destination among our guests, and I am excited for the Carnival Celebration to make many more memorable visits in the future.”

After its visit to Grand Turk, the Carnival Celebration will continue its journey with stops at Amber Cove on Thanksgiving Day and Nassau on Friday. The ship will spend Saturday at sea before returning to PortMiami on Sunday.

With the capacity to accommodate over 6,000 guests, the Carnival Celebration boasts an impressive range of features, including 20+ dining venues, 12 bars and lounges, and over 2,600 staterooms, spread across six unique zones. The ship’s top deck is home to the award-winning, all-electric roller coaster, BOLT: Ultimate Sea Coaster.

Starting Sunday, the Carnival Celebration will begin alternating week-long Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings. Eastern Caribbean itineraries will include stops in destinations such as Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Amber Cove, and Nassau. Western Caribbean cruises will visit Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay.
