Holland America Line Eurodam 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise Review (Itinerary A)

The Holland America Line Eurodam is a cruise ship operated by the Holland America Line, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. Launched in 2008, the Eurodam is one of the largest ships in the Holland America Line fleet, with a gross tonnage of approximately 86,273.

The ship features a sleek and modern design, with a length of 951 feet and a maximum width of 105.8 feet. It has the capacity to accommodate up to 2,104 passengers and a crew of 824.

The Eurodam features a variety of staterooms, including interior, ocean-view, balcony, suite, and accessible staterooms. The staterooms are equipped with comfortable furnishings, flat-screen televisions, and private bathrooms.

In terms of entertainment and dining, the Eurodam offers a wide range of options, including several restaurants, bars, lounges, a theater, and a casino. The ship also features a spa, fitness center, and a pool deck.

The ship is powered by diesel engines and is equipped with advanced navigation and safety systems, including radar, sonar, and satellite communications. The Eurodam also features stabilizers for a smooth and comfortable ride, even in rough seas.

Itinerary:

Fort Lauderdale, FL (Port Everglades):  Port Everglades is a seaport located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. It is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world, serving as a homeport for many of the world’s largest cruise lines.  Holland America Line is a regular visitor to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The cruise line operates several of its ships from the port, including the Eurodam, which I described in my previous answer.

At Port Everglades, Holland America Line offers a range of itineraries, including Caribbean cruises, South America cruises, and transatlantic crossings. Passengers embarking on a Holland America cruise from Port Everglades can expect a smooth and convenient check-in process, with the port offering a variety of services and amenities to make the start of their journey as enjoyable as possible.

For this cruise, I was in stateroom 7050 a Neptune Suite on deck 7.  The Neptune Suites on the Eurodam offer a spacious living area with comfortable furnishings, including a sofa and armchair. They also feature a separate bedroom with a plush bed and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet.

In terms of amenities, the Neptune Suites on the Eurodam are equipped with flat-screen televisions, a minibar, a safe, and a desk area. The suites also offer ample storage space for guests’ belongings.

In addition to these standard amenities, the Neptune Suites on the Eurodam offer a number of other services and perks, including priority embarkation and disembarkation, access to exclusive lounge areas, and a concierge service.
