Carnival Celebration 7-Day Western Caribbean Cruise Review

Carnival Celebration is the newest ship in the Carnival fleet, having been launched in November 2022 she serves as the line’s flagship vessel.  The second in the line’s Excel-class cruise ship, Carnival Celebration is sister to Mardi Gras and the soon-to-be-launched Jubilee.

As one of the largest ships in the fleet, Carnival Celebration accommodates 6,600 passengers and serves as the home for over 1,700 crew.  With 20 decks, there’s no shortage of things to do on board as Celebration boasts 19 restaurants, 7 bars, a roller coaster, a water park, mini golf and ropes course, multiple swimming pools and hot tubs, and so much more.

Designed to celebrate Carnival’s 50th anniversary, there are several elements throughout the ship that showcase the line’s past, a few I detailed in my Day 3 review.  She currently sails from PortMiami and offers both eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.

Date: April 16 – April 22, 2023

Carnival Celebration Accommodations:

This time around, I booked a balcony stateroom (12252) on Deck 12, forward.  Typical balcony staterooms on the ship include two twin beds that can be combined into one, a pull-out sofa, a bathroom with a spacious shower, closets for plenty of storage, and a balcony with two chairs and a small table.
