Key Takeaways
- Cabin 7146 is a standard interior located all the way aft on Deck 7.
- You need your key card in the slot by the door to turn the power on.
- Storage is decent, with closet space with hangers and bathrobes, a nice size wardrobe and some shelves.
- There’s a safe and a tea setup, because you can’t have a Cunard ship without proper tea.
- This is an older ship, so there are no USB ports anywhere in the room, not over the bed and not on the lamps.
- You do get a couple of US outlets and some European outlets, so plan to get creative with charging.
- The beds are two twins pushed together to make the big bed, with a nightstand on each side.
- The TV is rather small, and there’s a hair dryer in the room.
Good to Know
The biggest thing to plan around is power. With no USB ports at all, bring a power strip or a charger with its own plug so your phone, camera and everything else can charge at the same time. The outlets are there, just not the built in USB ports you get on newer ships.
Everything in the minibar is extra, so don’t assume it’s complimentary. The sparkling wine on the little table is the same story.
The bathroom is small, and the shower is tiny. The layout of the room itself isn’t bad, though. It’s a little small but absolutely doable for a solo traveler like me.
