If cigarette smoke bothers you, head for the nonsmoking casino. It’s a lot smaller, with just a couple of table games and not a whole lot of machines, but it gives you somewhere to play without the smoke. The main casino across the hall is where smoking is allowed, and that’s where you’ll find most of the table games and slots.

Carnival Venezia is one of Carnival’s Fun Italian Style ships, and it sailed for Costa Cruises before joining Carnival. You’ll notice the Italian theming and gold touches as you walk around, especially near the Art Gallery and in the atrium.

The atrium is worth a look even if you’re just passing through. They set up a photo op area in there at night, and it’s surrounded by shops selling handbags, jewelry, liquor like Hennessy, and cigarettes. The Carnival store is here too if you want to pick up some branded gear before you head home.
