The Noordam is a mid-sized cruise ship operated by Holland America Line. It was launched in 2006 and has a capacity for around 1,900 passengers and 800 crew members. The ship is approximately 950 feet long and 105 feet wide and features modern amenities and facilities for its guests.

Noordam Verandah Stateroom 10008 Photos

During my 10-day Southern Caribbean cruise on the Noordam, I stayed in a Verandah Stateroom, number 10008, located on the 10th deck.   The Verandah stateroom on the Noordam is a spacious and comfortable accommodation that features a private balcony with stunning ocean views. The Verandah stateroom can accommodate up to three guests and is approximately 249 square feet in size.

The stateroom includes a sitting area with a sofa or chairs and a coffee table, as well as a flat-screen TV and DVD player. The bedding configuration can be either a queen-size bed or two twin beds, with premium linens and bedding provided for maximum comfort. There is also a vanity/desk area with a chair and mirror.

The bathroom in the Verandah stateroom features a shower, sink, and toilet, with luxury toiletries, towels, and bathrobes provided for guests. There is also a hairdryer in the room.

The private balcony is a highlight of the Verandah stateroom, offering guests a peaceful outdoor space to relax and enjoy the ocean views. The balcony features comfortable outdoor furniture, including chairs and a small table.

Other amenities in the Verandah stateroom include a refrigerator, safe, and 24-hour room service. The stateroom is also equipped with individual climate control, allowing guests to adjust the temperature to their comfort level.

Guests staying in the Verandah stateroom also have access to a range of onboard amenities, including the ship’s dining venues, entertainment options, and fitness center.

Noordam Pool and Outdoor Deck Photos

The Noordam features several pool areas for guests to enjoy. The Lido Pool is the main pool area, located on the ship’s Lido Deck. The pool is surrounded by loungers and chairs for guests to relax in the sun, and there is also a large hot tub nearby. The Lido Pool also features a retractable roof that can be closed in inclement weather.

The Seaview Pool is a smaller, adults-only pool located at the back of the ship on the Sports Deck. The pool is surrounded by loungers and chairs and features a bar area for guests to enjoy drinks while they swim or sunbathe.

Both pool areas offer towel service, and there are also changing rooms and showers nearby. Guests can also order drinks and snacks from the poolside bar areas.

In addition to the pool areas, the ship also features a fitness center with cardio and weightlifting machines, as well as fitness classes and personal training sessions. The ship also offers a range of onboard activities, including sports tournaments, dance classes, and other fitness-related events.
