It wasn’t that long ago when I took a cruise on the largest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas.  (By the way, when Harmony of the Seas makes her debut in just a few short months, she will take the “world’s largest” title away from Allure.)  On this cruise, I had the pleasure of staying in one of the ship’s Crown Loft Suites (#1710).

Measuring in at 540 square feet with an additional 98 square foot (very deep and wonderful) balcony, the Crown Loft Suite is a two-story suite with a large sitting area and full bath on the first floor, which has a pull-out couch that turns into a double bed so it can be used as a bedroom at night.

Upstairs is home to the Master Bedroom, loft-style, with a large bathroom complete with a shower big enough for two (or more!) people.

For those wondering about getting up to the second floor, you can do so via the steps… or the elevator!  Yes, this room has an elevator.

The first level features a large sitting area with a large flat screen television, sofa, recliner, dining area with dry bar, full bath with shower and windows that go floor to ceiling.

Walk out onto the balcony and you have your own large private oasis that is narrow and deep with great views of the ocean below or the sports deck depending on the location of the room.

Upstairs in the master bedroom, you can watch television from the flat screen TV that descends from the ceiling after relaxing in that huge shower I mentioned earlier.

Closet and storage space is no problem in the Crown Loft Suite, as there’s plenty of it to go around.

In order to get to the 17th deck where theses suites are located, you will need to use your SeaPass to access the hallway that leads to your suite.  This adds a bit of privacy and less traffic at night from those wandering around the ship.

Of course, travelling in a suite on Royal Caribbean also entitles you to other personalized perks during your cruise vacation, which makes staying in one more convenient and relaxing.
