Let’s take a walk around Deck 3 on Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth. We’ll start on the upper level of the Britannia Restaurant, stop by the photo gallery and the Midship Bar, peek into the card room and the Clarendon Art Gallery, then wrap up with a look at the Queens Room and the shops.

Key Takeaways
- The Deck 3 level of the two story Britannia Restaurant is for traditional early and late seating, and there’s a gorgeous chandelier you can look at from above.
- The photo gallery is where you pick up your photos, and it’s where you’d talk to the team about setting up a private photo session.
- The Midship Bar, also called Gin and Fizz, was one of my favorite spots on board. I took part in their gin tasting and history class, so if you’re a gin person, sign up for it.
- Some nights there’s a piano player out by the Midship Bar playing the grand piano.
- There’s a little nook for puzzles and a card room for mahjong, board games or card games with your group.
- The Clarendon Art Gallery changes out most of its art pieces every day, and a lot of it is for purchase.
- The Queens Room is two stories, and it’s where they do ballroom dancing and afternoon tea.
- The shops on Deck 3 include jewelry and watches, a cosmetics store for cologne and makeup, and a liquor and tobacco shop.
Good to Know
Know which Britannia level is yours before dinner. Deck 3 is for fixed early or late seating, and Deck 2 downstairs is for open seating, so you can go anytime during dinner hours.
The Royal Court Theatre spans Decks 2 and 3, and it’s where most of the stage shows and performances are held. They were rehearsing when I filmed, so it was locked down and I couldn’t take you inside.
Connections is more like a conference room. There wasn’t much going on in there during my cruise, but they do put on special events in that space from time to time, so check your daily planner.
