Come along with me for a walk around Deck 5 on Carnival Venezia. We’ll start with the shops in the atrium, then pass Piano Bar 88, Bonsai Teppanyaki, Fahrenheit 555, the Amari Bar, Bonsai Sushi and Il Viaggio before heading outside to the Estrada Grill, the cabanas and the Deck 5 smoking area.

Key Takeaways

  • The atrium shops on Deck 5 have clothing, cosmetics, perfume, Effy jewelry, handbags and watches, plus there’s a beauty parlor on board.
  • There’s an ATM on Deck 5 in case you need more cash.
  • Piano Bar 88 is a popular spot where you can sit around the bar while they play the piano.
  • Bonsai Teppanyaki is right across the hall from the piano bar. It’s dinner and a show with the teppanyaki chefs, and always a great meal.
  • Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse has two different dining rooms.
  • The Amari Bar has the exact same layout as the Alchemy Bar on the other Vista class ships, just with a different name.
  • Il Viaggio is the Italian restaurant on this ship, with the Frizzante Bar right outside.
  • Outside, Estrada Grill takes the place of Pig and Anchor, serving smoked chicken and pulled pork along with some Italian dishes.

Good to Know

If you’ve sailed on another Vista class ship, a lot of Deck 5 will feel familiar. Many of the venues have the same layout, just with new Italian names, like the Amari Bar instead of the Alchemy Bar and Estrada Grill instead of Pig and Anchor.

Don’t skip the outdoor area on Deck 5. There are a lot of nice outdoor spaces to chill, including little private cabanas you can sit in, and Bonsai has outdoor seating too.

The smoking area on Deck 5 is outside, with its own little private areas where you can sit and have your smoke. You’ll also pass Pixels for your digital photos and the Gondola Lounge, where they were doing trivia when I walked by, and the theater is right off the atrium.
