Come along with me for a walk around Deck 4 on Carnival Horizon. We’ll start out by the atrium and the shops, then spend most of our time in the casino checking out the slots and table games before heading down the hallway toward the sports bar.

Key Takeaways
- Deck 4 is the Mezzanine Deck, and most of it is taken up by the casino.
- Out by the atrium you’ll find shops, the Carnival store and the liquor store, with the Atrium Bar down below. The Christmas decorations were up when I filmed.
- There’s a smoking and a nonsmoking section in the casino, but there’s no physical barrier between them. It’s really just these machines are smoking and those machines aren’t.
- Dragon Link is everywhere. There’s a whole row of Dragon Link machines, plus Dollar Storm and Lightning Link.
- Table games are grouped together in one area, with blackjack and roulette among them.
- The casino bar you might still see on older deck plans is gone. It was removed and replaced with more slot machines.
- Past the casino, the hallway leads toward the dining room, the comedy club lounge and a conference room, with the Skybox Sports Bar right there in the hall.
Good to Know
If smoke bothers you, keep in mind the casino’s smoking and nonsmoking areas aren’t really separated. They’re just different groups of machines in the same open room, so you may still notice it on the nonsmoking side.
Don’t go looking for a bar inside the casino. Older deck plans still show one, but it’s been replaced with additional slots, so you’ll want to grab your drink at the Atrium Bar or another nearby bar first.
Deck 4 is also home to the Horizon Restaurant and the Skybox Sports Bar, so you’ll likely pass through here a lot during your cruise whether you play in the casino or not.
