We now know the same of Disney Cruise Line’s next Wish-class ship, and in true Disney fashion, it’s a big, shiny, inspirational one.

The line announced today that its fourth Wish-class ship will be called Disney Believe, with the reveal happening during The Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholders meeting on March 18, 2026. Disney says the ship is expected to arrive in late 2027.

That means the Wish-class lineup now looks like this: Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny, and now Disney Believe. And like the other ships in the class, this one is getting its own personality instead of just being another copy-and-paste floating castle. According to Disney, the theme for Believe is all about “promise and possibilities.”

Which, let’s be honest, sounds exactly like the kind of phrase Disney would put on a ship that’s going to be loaded with emotional music, Disney-esque atrium décor, and at least a few spots designed specifically to make you stop and say, “Well… this is pretty.”

Disney says the ship will draw from stories and worlds including Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana, and The Little Mermaid, all tied together around characters who believe in themselves, their dreams, and the idea of a better tomorrow. That’s a lot of optimism packed into one vessel, but it does at least sound like Disney is trying to give this ship a different identity from Wish’s enchantment theme, Treasure’s adventure vibe, and Destiny’s heroes-and-villains setup.

Now the real question is whether Disney does enough with the concept to make the ship stand out.

Because that’s the challenge with the Wish class at this point. The bones of these ships are similar enough that each new one needs more than a different color palette and a new batch of character artwork slapped on the walls. If Disney really leans into the theme, there’s a lot of potential here. Moana and The Little Mermaid could inspire some very cool spaces, Frozen is practically guaranteed to show up in a way that prints money, and Encanto gives Imagineering a chance to do something visually different if they don’t play it too safe.

And Disney Cruise Line definitely isn’t slowing down. The company says the fleet is set to grow to 13 ships by 2031, with Disney Adventure already having launched from Singapore on March 10, 2026, Disney Believe arriving in late 2027, a brand-new ship class coming in 2029, and Disney also planning to enter the Japan cruise market in 2029 through its agreement with Oriental Land Co.
