One of my most popular cruise reviews was the one I did in November/December 2014 when I sailed on the inaugural cruise for Royal Caribbean’s newest, most technically advanced, not to mention most expensive cruise ship, Quantum of the Seas.
Robotic bartenders, a radical departure in interior design, WOW Bands to open your stateroom door and charge shipboard purchases, unique restaurants, new entertainment offerings, the North Star observation pod and so much more made the first ship in the Quantum-class series unique.
Since Quantum launched, Royal Caribbean has introduced two more Quantum-class ships – Ovation of the Seas which is currently sailing in Asia, and Anthem of the Seas which offers Caribbean cruises from Bayonne, New Jersey.
All three of these billion-dollar cruise ships offer the same amenities but all have their own special touches that make them unique.
No matter which ship or line you cruise on, the goal of the cruise director is to keep everyone busy, happy and entertained no matter what time of day. If you’re like me, I never have a hard time finding something to do when onboard, even if it’s just hanging by the pool having a cold one while watching the world pass by.
Days go fast on a cruise, sometimes too fast. But Royal Caribbean managed to cram what you can do during the day on Anthem of the Seas, and any Quantum-class cruise ship for that matter, into just 30-seconds! Check it out and if you’ve sailed on one of these magnificent ships, share your thoughts in the comments.
