Come along with me for a full tour of Junior Suite 7154 on Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas. It’s at the back of the ship, so it has an extended aft balcony overlooking the wake. We’ll look at the closet, the bathroom, the bed and sofa area, the desk and that balcony.

Key Takeaways

  • The closet is on the right as you walk in, and it’s very spacious, with the life vests up on top.
  • The bathroom has a full tub, though it does have a shower curtain, and a drain in the floor.
  • Junior suites get upgraded amenities: separate shampoo, conditioner and body wash instead of the 3 in 1.
  • The bed can be split into two twins with the nightstands in the middle.
  • There’s a full size sofa that pulls out into a bed, so this room can sleep up to four people.
  • You’ll find a safe, a TV and a mini fridge, which is more like a cooler since it doesn’t get that cold.
  • The desk has three drawers on each side, plus a coffee maker, and there’s more storage around the room.
  • The aft balcony is extended, with two loungers, a table and two chairs overlooking the back of the ship.

Good to Know

I booked this cruise with a casino offer for an ocean view room and was able to upgrade to a junior suite guarantee. About two and a half weeks before sailing I got my room assignment, and I was very excited to find out it was at the aft of the ship.

If you like watching the wake and the sunsets, an aft suite like this one is hard to beat. The room itself is very spacious, and my stateroom attendant kept me well stocked with coffee the whole time.
