Oceania Cruises, famous for its delicious food and amazing destinations, is getting closer to finishing its newest ship, Allura. The ship, which can hold 1,200 guests, just hit a big milestone at the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri Ponente, Italy. Allura was floated out of the dry dock and moved to the fitting-out berth, where the team will start working on its luxurious interiors.

In a respectful and low-key ceremony, Allura was blessed by the shipyard’s chaplain, Father Stefano, honoring the recent passing of General Claudio Graziano, Chairman of Fincantieri. The shipyard’s Madrina, Caterina Romeo, a designer at Fincantieri, christened the ship, wishing good fortune to the vessel and everyone who will sail on her.

The ship promises to set new standards in the cruise industry with its elegant design and innovative features.

Allura is set to start service from Trieste, Italy, on July 18, 2025, with a six-day cruise to Athens, Greece, stopping at amazing places like Rijeka, Croatia; Ravenna, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Kotor, Montenegro.
