Royal Caribbean is expanding its fleet of Oasis-class ships on the heels of the launch of the latest – and world’s largest cruise ship – Harmony of the Seas. Launched earlier this month, Harmony joins sisters Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas in a unique class of vessel that holds upwards of 6,000 passengers and features a unique design based on different “neighborhoods.”

The Oasis family is about to get a little larger as Royal Caribbean signed on to build a 5th vessel for delivery in Spring 2021. But where’s the 4th? It’s currently under construction and is set to launch in 2018.

When all five Oasis-class ships are in service they will hold in excess of 30,000 passengers!

I’m patiently waiting for Harmony of the Seas to make her debut in Port Everglades in just a few months.  Although I prefer a smaller ship, it will be interesting to see just how different Harmony is from her sisters.  Just the fact that she will be the first Royal Caribbean ship to feature water slides is impressive!
