MSC Cruises has announced an exciting new partnership with Guinness World Records to offer guests a chance to break records at sea. The program is part of the cruise line’s efforts to provide immersive entertainment options and offers a chance for guests to test their skills and make their way into the record books.
The new entertainment offerings will include live shows featuring guests attempting to break Guinness World Records. Guests can practice during the day and audition for an evening show, with finalists demonstrating their talents and aiming to become the next iconic record holder. This partnership is sure to offer a unique and enriching experience at the highest level of entertainment.
Steve Leatham, Global Head of Entertainment at MSC Cruises, said that the partnership provides new and engaging concepts for guests, and they are excited to offer a dynamic range of exciting experiences for guests of all ages.
Marco Frigatti, SVP Consultancy at Guinness World Records, also expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying that hosting a live show is the best way to bring the magic of Guinness World Records to life. He added that families exploring the world on an MSC cruise can explore the incredible world of record-breaking and even become a part of it too.
Guinness World Records activities are currently available onboard MSC Seascape and MSC World Europa, with plans to bring them to the highly-anticipated MSC Euribia when she welcomes guests for her inaugural season this June.
Some of the Guinness World Records highlights include the Records Show, a spectacular stage show modeled after the Guinness World Records TV show, complete with audience participation. Onboard, there will also be various action-packed Children’s Programs, including entertaining challenges, quizzes, and educational shows that provide engaging entertainment for children and teens.
Guests can test their knowledge of Guinness World Records with the Guinness World Records Facts trivia challenge or join in on the Guinness World Records Family Quiz, which allows the whole family to participate using live challenges and Guinness World Records video races to see if audiences can select the winner.
Any new record breakers will be verified by a Guinness World Records Official Adjudicator and awarded a Guinness World Records certificate, giving guests the ultimate bragging rights and incredible memories to look back on. This partnership is an exciting addition to the immersive entertainment options offered by MSC Cruises, and guests are sure to have a thrilling and unforgettable time onboard.
