Virgin Voyages has given us the first look of the new cruise line’s first “Lady Ship” under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy.
The ship, which is rumored to be named Scarlet Lady, bears the hull number 6287 which is the equivalent of a car’s vehicle identification number (VIN).
More recently, Virgin shared artist renderings of the ship’s very unique public spaces and introduced the design teams selected to build them.
The 2,700 passenger, adults-only cruise ship is scheduled to make her debut in 2020 and will homeport at PortMiami in Florida. From there she will sail 7-day Caribbean itineraries. Two additional ships are scheduled for delivery in 2021 and 2022. No details on where they will homeport or sail to have been announced.
