Royal Caribbean just dropped episode 2 of their new Behind the Crown & Anchor video series and in this episode they’re pulling back the curtain on their announcement about Perfect Day Mexico.   This episode takes us deeper into the features of this new private destination, set to open in fall 2027, while teasing developments for the Royal Beach Club Collection in Paradise Island and Cozumel, and a beach destination in Lelepa, Vanuatu.

Located at the Costa Maya cruise port in Mexico, Perfect Day Mexico is set to be Royal Caribbean’s boldest private destination yet. Building on the massive success of Perfect Day at CocoCay, this new hotspot will span over 200 acres. Sneak Peek at What’s Coming to Perfect Day Mexico in Fall 2027

  • Loco Waterpark:  Home to over 30 waterslides and Jaguar’s Peak, the tallest waterslide tower in the Americas, featuring a 170-foot, two-minute descent from the jaguar’s mouth and 10 heart-racing slides. Families can also conquer the tallest family raft slide in North and South America. For those who prefer to people watch, a swim-up bar offers the perfect vantage point to watch the action unfold.

  • World’s Longest Lazy River: For those seeking “chill” over “thrill,” Perfect Day Mexico introduces the world’s longest lazy river in Splash Cove. This unique river combines calm, relaxing floats with exciting waves and rapids, complete with in-tube cupholders for sipping drinks from nearby bars. Anchored by a 100,000-square-foot pool, Splash Cove also features the largest Splashaway Bay yet, with kid-sized waterslides and family-friendly Splashaway Cabanas.

  • El Hideaway:  El Hideaway is the adults-only retreat for those craving a party or a laid-back escape. Expect a massive zero-entry pool with a swim-up bar, in-pool DJ, live music, and the Ultimate Party Cabana, complete with its own pool and bar for up to 20 guests.

  • Dining and Drinks Galore: With 12 dining options, from sit-down restaurants to grab-and-go eateries, alont with 24 bars, including six swim-up bars.
