Let’s Talk WiFi
Princess Cruises uses Starlink for its onboard Internet product MedallionNet and while everyone knows that WiFi at sea can be hit or miss at times, especially when weather is involved. WiFi has been pretty good onboard Regal Princess, with no service interruptions, no issues with doing video or voice calls, or using Zoom or Google Meet.
It does take a bit to upload large photo files and videos, but for the most part it’s a very reliable connection. Speed on the other hand is not a strong point of WiFi at sea, as shown in the two speed test results below, one from my iPhone and one from my laptop.

The End is Near!
This 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise on Regal Princess is quickly coming to an end with today being the final day. The debarkation letter have been delivered, luggage tags ready to go, and soon we’ll be back in Fort Lauderdale.
Over the course of the week we’ve visited Princess Cays, San Juan, and St. Thomas, and today is the second of two back-to-back sea days.
Weather today is… HOT! Very hot. Current temp at 10:30am is 87F and hardly any breeze.
Coming up today, another tasting for me… this time it’s Irish Whisky and Irish Beer in the Wheelhouse Bar at 1pm, so more on that later!
For now, here’s a look at the breakfast menu being served in the main dining room this morning:

Auto-refreshing every 10 seconds.
