Princess Cruises is bumping up the price of its two bundled packages again, and it’s reworking its standalone WiFi lineup at the same time. This comes just over a year after the last increase we covered in our article Princess Raises Prices and Adjusts Offerings in Packages for 2026. If you’ve got a Princess sailing coming up, or you’re eyeing one, here’s what’s changing and when.
The new rates apply to voyages departing on or after October 13, 2026, according to a letter Princess sent to travel advisors. We’ve already updated our Princess drink package calculator with the new numbers, so you can run your own math.
What Are Princess Plus and Princess Premier?
If you haven’t sailed Princess in a while, or you’re new to the line, here’s a quick rundown. Plus and Premier are Princess’s bundled packages. Instead of buying drinks, WiFi, and extras one at a time, you pay one daily price per person and get a bunch of perks rolled together. Princess prices them to save you money compared to buying everything separately, as long as you’d actually use what’s in the bundle.
Princess Plus is the more budget friendly of the two. It covers a beverage package, WiFi for one device, four casual dining meals per voyage, and waived delivery fees for OceanNow and room service. Crew appreciation (the daily gratuities) is included too.
Princess Premier is the everything bundle. It steps up to the premium beverage package, which covers drinks priced up to $20 each, and adds unlimited casual and specialty dining. You also get WiFi for four devices, unlimited digital professional photos, reserved seating in the main theater, and a shore excursion credit that scales with the length of your cruise. That credit is $100 on 6 to 9 night voyages, $200 on 10 to 20 night voyages, and up to $300 on cruises of 21 nights or more. Like Plus, Premier includes waived delivery fees and prepaid crew appreciation.

Princess Plus and Premier Each Go Up $5 a Day
Both packages are rising by $5 per person, per day. That applies whether you buy before you sail or once you’re onboard.

Sun Princess and Star Princess already carried a $5 premium, and that stays in place. Expect Plus at $75 before sailing and $80 onboard, and Premier at $110 before sailing and $115 onboard on those two ships.
All prices are per person, per day, so it adds up faster than it looks. A couple on a seven night cruise will pay an extra $70 total for either package (that’s $5 times two people times seven days).
How This Compares to Last July’s Increase
If this feels familiar, it should. When Princess announced its last round of changes in July 2025, Premier climbed from $90 to $100 per person, per day, and Plus went from $60 to $65. Add this new bump on top, and Premier has gone from $90 to $105 and Plus from $60 to $70 in about a year and a half, at the lowest advance purchase rates.
There’s one big difference this time around. Last July, the price increases came with a shuffle of benefits. Plus gained extra casual dining meals, Premier picked up a shore excursion credit, and a handful of lesser used perks got cut. This time, Princess hasn’t announced any changes to what’s included in either package.
The WiFi Lineup Is Getting Shaken Up Too
The same October 13th date applies to WiFi, which runs on Princess’s MedallionNet service powered by Starlink. Princess is removing one plan, adding another, and repricing the one that’s left.
- The standalone four device plan is going away. Four device access will only be available as part of Princess Premier.
- A new two device plan is arriving. It’s $39.99 per day if you buy before sailing, or $47.99 per day if you buy onboard for the full cruise. You can also grab it onboard for a single day at $55.99.
- The one device plan is being repriced. It’ll cost $27.99 per day before sailing, $33.99 per day onboard for the full voyage, and $39.99 for a single day.
What This Means for Your Cruise
Since everyone in the cabin needs to buy Plus or Premier, the $5 increase hits the whole stateroom at once. It’s $5 per person, every day, so it’s worth rerunning your numbers even if you’ve bought a package on every Princess cruise you’ve taken.
If you’re planning to buy a package, the WiFi changes barely touch you. Every guest’s package already includes their own WiFi, with one device on Plus and four devices on Premier. The real decision is between the two packages. At the new rates, Premier costs $35 more per person, per day than Plus when you buy before sailing, and it covers a lot more than extra devices. If one device per person isn’t enough for your group, that gap is where the WiFi math gets interesting.
The WiFi changes matter most if you skip the packages and buy WiFi on its own. The standalone four device plan is gone, so if you’re traveling with phones, a tablet, and a laptop, you’ll have to log in and out of multiple devices to use them, or move up to Premier to get all four connected at the same time.
One question we’re already hearing is what happens if you’ve prepaid a package for a sailing after October 13th. Princess hasn’t spelled out how they will handle packages that were purchased before the increase. When they raised prices last July, they honored the packages guests had already bought, so it’s reasonable to expect the same here. Still, if you’ve prepaid, take a quick look at your booking and confirm your rate with Princess or your travel advisor.
