Known as the world’s leading culinary and destination-focused cruise line, Oceania Cruises has recently welcomed back its 1,250-guest ship, Marina, after a spectacular refurbishment. And it’s not just a new coat of paint; the ship now boasts three exciting new dining options that will delight every guest.

Fresh Flavors on the High Seas

Marina’s makeover introduces Aquamar Kitchen, a wellness-focused dining venue that first made waves on Oceania’s Vista last year. Here, guests can enjoy nutritious and delicious meals that prove healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring. Think cold-pressed juices, energy bowls, and globally inspired salads at breakfast and lunch. The Impossible™ burger and yellowfin tuna tacos are just a couple of the hearty options that are sure to please even the most discerning palates. And don’t forget the beverage menu, featuring award-winning non-alcoholic wines and refreshing mocktails.

For those who crave a little indulgence by the pool, Marina now offers a fabulous ice cream parlor. Picture yourself lounging by the pool with a creamy milkshake or a smoothie, or indulging in a scoop of artisan ice cream from the renowned Humphry Slocombe.

If Italian cuisine is your passion, the new al fresco Pizzeria will be your go-to spot. Waves Grill transforms in the evening to offer freshly made pizzas, grilled Italian specialties, and sumptuous salads. A slice of Nutella pizza for dessert? Yes, please!

A Culinary Experience Like No Other

“Marina is the first – the original – ship designed by foodies, built by foodies, for foodies,” says Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. The addition of these three new dining options underscores Oceania Cruises’ commitment to providing “The Finest Cuisine at Sea.” It’s not just about formal dining with white linen tablecloths (although that’s certainly available too); it’s about enjoying perfectly prepared pizza with a glass of chilled white wine on deck, or a decadent poolside treat as you soak up the sun.

Oceania Cruises’ newly appointed Executive Culinary Directors, Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, are bringing fresh inspiration to the menus across the fleet. “The introduction of these three wonderful culinary venues on board Marina is just the start of an exciting new taste journey for Oceania Cruises,” says Chef Alex.

Luxurious Upgrades and Elegant Spaces

Marina’s refurbishment isn’t limited to its dining options. The 124 Penthouse Suites have been completely revamped with custom-crafted furniture, new closets and cabinetry, modern lighting, and sleek restyled bathrooms adorned with Italian marble. These updates ensure guests enjoy a luxurious, residential feel with plenty of space and comfort.

Public spaces like Martinis, Horizons, The Grand Dining Room, and the Library have also received elegant updates with plush new carpets and refreshed upholstery. Even the specialty steakhouse, Polo Grill, boasts a fresh new look.

Due to the addition of Aquamar Kitchen, Oceania Cruises’ signature pairing dinners in La Reserve will now be showcased in Privée, Marina’s exclusive private dining venue, adding a touch of glamour to your dining experience.

Setting Sail for New Adventures

Marina is just one part of Oceania Cruises’ exciting future. The fleet now includes eight ships that are new or better-than-new, with the eighth ship, Allura, set to debut in July 2025. So, whether you’re a seasoned cruiser or planning your first voyage, Oceania Cruises offers an unparalleled blend of culinary excellence and luxurious travel.

Bon voyage! And don’t forget to bring your appetite.
