Say goodbye to Carnival Victory and hello to Carnival Radiance!

The 18-year old Carnival Cruise Line ship will undergo a $200M renovation in 2020 and when she emerges from drydock she will not only have a new look inside but a new name as well.

The ship will undergo the transformation in March 2020 and over the course of 38 days she will receive significant upgrades including:

Cucina del Capitano – the line’s signature Italian restaurant that serves up family-style meals with an atmosphere designed to make you feel like you’re at Nona’s home.

JavaBlue Café – a coffee bar offering lattes, cappuccinos and, spiked coffees along with an assortment of confections.

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse – the line’s classic American steakhouse.

Bonsai Sushi – a full-service Asian restaurant offering sushi, sashimi, rolls and more.

The Chef’s Table – a multi-course dining experience hosted in a glass-enclosed venue in the ship’s main dining room.

Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse – Guy Fieri’s BBQ outpost that features his “real deal” BBQ faves.

A reimagined Lido Marketplace which includes the Seafood Shack, Pizzeria del Capitano and, Swirls for ice cream and frozen yogurt.

RedFrog Pub – the popular rum and beer bar that serves Carnival’s ThristyFrog Red beer.

Piano Bar 88 – the ship’s sing-along-piano bar complete with new décor and more surprises!

Limelight Lounge – the home to the Punchliner Comedy Club which offers stand-up comics and a nightclub for late evening dancing.

Liquid Lounge – a new multi-purpose space where cruisers can take in daytime and nighttime entertainment including Hasbro, The Game Show.

SportSquare – a suspended ropes course with a 150 foot view to the sea below, basketball court, jogging track, ping poing, foodball, pool tables and, a nine-hole mini golf course.

Water Works – will feature a 203-foot ling AquaTunnel slide and the line’s signature 212-foot long Twister slide as well as a 75-gallon PowerDrencher tipping bucket and kiddie area.

Serenity Adult Only Retreat – an adult-only area with loungers, whirlpools and oversized umbrellas.

Cloud 9 Spa – the ship’s spa complete with a thermal suite, private treatment rooms, and carido and weight training equipment.

The Warehouse – a cool place for kids to hang out complete with the latest video and arcade games.

Expanded Retail Spaces – reimagined and expanded to include an even larger assortment of jewelry, watches, fragrances and the line’s Carnival Store.

These new spaces will complement a wide variety of existing food and beverage outlets, including Guy’s Burger Joint offering hand-crafted burgers and fries, The Deli serving piled-high sandwiches and traditional sides, the poolside RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, BlueIguana Cantina offering authentic Mexican tacos and burritos, an expanded Cherry on Top sweets shop, and the cocktail pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar. The ship’s staterooms were also recently renovated with a new tropical color palette and new accommodation choices, including luxurious Captain’s Suites with floor to ceiling windows.

Itineraries for the newly renamed Carnival Raidance will be announced in mid-November.

The transformation of Carnival Victory is part of a $2 billion fleetwide modernization progam.
