Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas recently arrived at PortMiami following a $115-million refurbishment that gave the 17-year-old Voyager-class cruise ship plenty of fun additions and even more reasons to book her for your next Bahamas cruise.

The ship’s drydock was more than just time to give the ship a fresh coat of paint.  The ship saw many transformations during the weeks-long refurbishment, the most noticeable being on her pool deck where new slides and dining venues were added, including:

  • The Blaster the cruise line’s first aqua coaster and the longest waterslide at sea.
  • Riptide – a headfirst mat racer waterslide, complete with an exhilarating finish through a translucent tube for endless ocean views.
  • 2 new jacuzzis
  • The new Lime & Coconut Bar an outdoor Caribbean bar
  • The new El Loco Fresh featuring tacos, burritos, and quesadillas
  • A Johnny Rockets Express

On the ship’s promenade, guests can stop by the new Bamboo Room to enjoy a craft cocktail before heading over to one of the ship’s two new restaurants, Jamie’s Italian and Hooked Seafood.  After dinner, Playmakers is the spot to grab a beer, play pool or catch the big game on one of the bar’s many big screen televisions.

Navigator of the Seas is also the first ship in the fleet to feature To Dry For, a blow dry bar where ladies can get a blowout or a nail touch up while enjoying a glass of champagne.
