Royal Caribbean International’s Icon of the Seas, the latest in the company’s fleet, has opened reservations for its iconic Caribbean adventures. With a variety of room options to choose from, travelers can set sail in January 2024 on the first of the Icon Class, a new standard in the vacation industry. The Icon Class provides travelers with a unique combination of room choices, ocean views, and amenities that cater to all types of families and adventurers.

The first in the Icon Class has an all-encompassing lineup of firsts and next-level favorites for everyone across eight neighborhoods, including the new Thrill Island, Surfside – a neighborhood made for young families – and Icon’s best kept secret, The Hideaway.

Icon offers 28 types of accommodations, including 14 new categories, such as Family Infinite Oceanview Balconies, Surfside Family Suites, Panoramic Oceanviews, Sunset Suites, and more. These rooms feature more space, accessible options, and intuitive layouts that are designed to meet the different needs and preferences of travelers. Whether traveling as a family, with friends, or as a couple, Icon has the perfect home base for everyone.

For families, Icon features Family Infinite Oceanview Balconies that offer space for up to six guests, with a bunk alcove for children and a split bathroom design for easy access. Surfside Family View Interiors, Balconies, and Suites are ideal for families of four and provide convenient access to Surfside, the neighborhood designed for families. The Ultimate Family Townhouse is a three-story suite with a multilevel, in-suite slide, karaoke and movie areas, two private balconies, and a private entrance to Surfside.
