A Grand Welcome

After more than two years of construction, Utopia of the Seas was delivered in a milestone celebration at the AquaTheater. With over 1,600 crew members and workers in attendance, Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty, Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley, and General Manager of Chantiers de l’Atlantique Laurent Castaing hosted the ship’s first party. This event marked the incredible achievements of the engineers, designers, and architects who brought this vision to life.

Jason Liberty highlighted the significance of Utopia’s delivery, stating, “It marks yet another evolution of our game-changing ships and our mission to create the best vacation experiences responsibly.”
