The ship boasts a wide array of never-before-seen live entertainment that promises to be as much a celebration as it is a performance. According to Chris Nelson, Vice President of Entertainment for Carnival Cruise Line, “We want to give our guests new reasons to celebrate nights at sea with us on Carnival Celebration and have designed a collection of new shows and other types of entertainment where eye-catching aerialists, cutting-edge technology and next-level talent will dazzle our guests every evening.”
Here are some of the highlights of Carnival Celebration’s live entertainment offerings:
- “The Most Magnificent Circus” – a big-top circus comes to life with wire-rigged performers taking talent to new heights. This show features mesmerizing aerial performances like trapeze, chair, chandelier, hoop, ladder and mirror, making it the most extravagant aerialist show in the fleet.
- “Color My World – An Indie Rock and Pop Love Story” – a love story unfolds through art and color as a popular artist and his assistant go on a journey of love. This vibrant and colorful show features live painting on stage with music and choreography to match.
- “Visual Symphony” (starting in December) – a high-tech visual masterpiece that uses Celebration Central’s 16 massive moving LED screens, lasers, and classic rock music to create a visually stunning performance.
- “Rio Carnival” (starting in May) – a high-energy Brazilian extravaganza of music and dance, featuring authentic samba, bossa nova, and other Latin pop songs performed in Portuguese and English.
In addition to these shows, Carnival Celebration also offers Family Feud Live, Deal or No Deal, and Love and Marriage game shows, as well as new offerings like “What’s Age Got to Do With It,” a trivia show for families, and “Cash Bash,” a fun challenge where guests can win cash prizes.
And let’s not forget the parties! From Celebration Happy Hour at Latitudes Bar to the electrifying Evolution mega-dance party, guests will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate and have a good time.
