Margaritaville at Sea is setting sail with its newest ship, the Islander, which will make its maiden voyage in June from Port Tampa Bay. This exciting new addition features 1,105 staterooms, all of which have been fully renovated and outfitted with fresh furnishings and Margaritaville’s signature bedding and linens. Each room is designed to evoke the sand, sea, and sky, ranging from cozy interiors to unique Signature Suites inspired by some of Jimmy Buffett’s iconic songs.
The Islander offers a variety of stateroom options, including six ultra-exclusive Signature Grand Suites. These themed suites draw inspiration from popular songs like “Come Monday” and “Everlasting Moon” and feature spacious balconies, private loungers, large walk-in showers, upgraded furnishings, and separate seating areas. Guests staying in these suites will also enjoy priority check-in, exclusive concierge services, and complimentary nightly dining in the Islander Dining Room.
Travelers have twelve different stateroom and suite types to choose from, ensuring that couples, families, solo travelers, and larger groups can find accommodations that suit their needs. The 700 balcony staterooms include Grand Terrace Corner Suites with wraparound balconies, Serene Junior Suites with open balcony views, Wake View Balcony staterooms at the ship’s aft, and Premium Extended Balcony and Breezy Balcony staterooms. Additionally, there are Picturesque Ocean View staterooms with scenic sea views and Cozy Interior staterooms offering great value and a comfortable base for the cruise. All staterooms come equipped with TVs, bathrooms with showers, in-room safes, hair dryers, various outlets and USB ports, vanity areas, and ample storage space.
The Margaritaville at Sea Islander spans 12 passenger decks and can accommodate 2,650 passengers. It features a stunning 14-story atrium with nautical Margaritaville flip-flop decor and a lively bar with three multi-story floating margarita glass chandeliers. Unique attractions include the three-story poolside LandShark Bar at Sea, a Margaritaville-themed cornhole and mini-golf course, family-friendly spaces like the Caribbean Amphibian Play Pad and Slide, as well as JWB Prime Steakhouse and Mexican Cutie Cantina.
Returning guests from the Palm Beach-based Margaritaville at Sea Paradise will recognize familiar favorites such as Paradise Pickleball at Sea, Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria, Margaritaville Coffee Shop, and Cheeseburger in Paradise. However, they’ll also find new spaces and experiences to explore.
The inaugural sailing of the Margaritaville at Sea Islander is scheduled for June 14. This 4-night itinerary from Port Tampa Bay includes a stop in Cozumel, Mexico, and two exciting sea days, promising a memorable adventure for all aboard.
