Margaritaville at Sea is giving us a sneak peek at life aboard its brand-new flagship, Beachcomber, sailing from PortMiami in 2027, and let’s just say, it looks pretty, pretty cool! The cruise line dropped concept art of several major spaces on the ship, and if these renderings are anything to go by, Beachcomber is going to look nothing like what she currently does as the Costa Fortuna, at least in some areas.
Flip Flop Atrium: The Heart of the Ship
The Beachcomber’s Flip Flop Atrium is designed to be the heart of the ship—the meet-up spot, the photo-op backdrop, and the perfect place to start your next good time. Bright, beachy, and filled with island flair, the atrium has palm trees, cozy seating, and even wave-patterned flooring that brings the shoreline indoors. It’s the kind of space where you could sip a margarita, make new friends, and forget for a moment that you’re still technically indoors.
Here’s a look at what the atrium looks like currently, on the Costa Fortuna:

And here’s what that space will look like on Beachcomber:

License to Chill Pool & Lido Deck Transformation
The pool deck is set to get transformed and take on a whole new vibe in the form of the License to Chill Pool, an outdoor playground with a tropical theme. The Daiquiri Shack will be serving frozen cocktails, while the Six Strings Stage has live music throughout the day. For those who prefer a quieter escape, the License to Chill Bar is perched just above, offering drinks and sea views—basically, the best seat in the house for sunsets and sail-away parties.

The World’s Largest 5 O’Clock Somewhere
Anchoring the ship’s upper decks is the world’s largest 5 O’Clock Somewhere — a massive, 50-foot-tall venue that spans four levels. By day, it’s the spot for poolside lounging and fruity drinks under the sun; by night, it transforms into the ship’s nightlife destination with live bands and island bites.

Here’s what you’ll find inside this complex:
- 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar — The lively hub serving boat drinks, draft beers, and classic cocktails.
- Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar — A poolside grill serving up juicy burgers with all the fixings.
- Mexican Cutie Cantina — A casual taqueria with customizable street-style tacos, rice bowls, and fresh salsas, paired with house-made margaritas.
- Adults-Only Cabanas — Private, ocean-view cabanas with cushioned seating and bar service for guests who like their relaxation a little quieter.
From the soaring Flip Flop Atrium to the vibrant License to Chill Pool Deck and the massive 5 O’Clock Somewhere, the upcoming Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber is blending everything fans already love with bold new experiences made for fun in the sun.
I know I’m looking forward to even more reveals, and as soon as they happen, I’ll post them here. So stay tuned!
