Princess Cruises’ Majestic Princess is fresh out of her recent drydock with plenty of upgrades from reimagined dining venues to refreshed entertainment spaces. Here’s a closer look at the most noticeable changes, including some moves and new names inspired by her sister ship, Enchanted Princess, which I sailed on over the Christmas holiday in 2024.

Majestic Princess Enhancements
- O’Malley’s Irish Pub: Say goodbye to Vines Wine Bar and hello to a more lively Irish pub vibe. O’Malley’s serves up comfort food like hearty burgers, fish and chips, and late-night bites, paired with beer and whiskey flights. It’s interesting to note that Princess chose to remove Vines, as Royal Caribbean is also beginning to phase out wine bars as well during drydocks.
- Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria: Previously Harmony Restaurant, this space now offers handmade pastas, and a selection of Italian favories. This was one of my favorite places to eat on Enchanted Princess, by the way!
- Good Spirits At Sea: Replacing the Piazza Bar, Good Spirits gets a new location where those expert mixologists craft cocktails with live demonstrations just like the TV show of the smae name.
- The Shops of Princess: Calypso Cove is now the home for… you guessed it, Effy. Yes, yet ANOTHER cruise ship with an Effy jewelry store.
- Confectionary: Also replacing part of Calypso Cove, this candy store is the spot your sweet tooth is going to want to visit daily for sweets and delicious treats.
- Bellini’s Cocktail Bar: Previously home to Good Spirits At Sea and the Princess Photo Gallery, this new bar offers bellinis, hand-crafted cocktails, and delicious wines.
- Captains Arcade: Formerly Churchill’s Video Arcade which was formerly Churchill’s Cigar Lounge, this space offers classic and interactive video and arcade games. We will probably see arcades which still bear the Churchill’s name on other ships, renamed in the future. Darn, I miss the cigar bar!
- Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar: Overlooking the Piazza, this sushi spot (formerly Ocean Terrace Bar) offers rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and maki.
- Princess Photo Gallery: has been relocated from Deck 6 to make way for Bellini’s.
- Alfredo’s Slice: Replacing Chopsticks Noodle & Dim Sum Bar, this poolside pizzeria brings made from scratch pizza (which is really good, by the way!).
- The Salty Dog Grill: Formerly the Lobster Bar & Grill, this poolside spot serves up burgers, hot dogs, street tacos, and loaded fries.
