More exciting details are out about the highly anticipated Disney Adventure, set to sail from Singapore in December 2025. And trust us, this ship is going to bring all the magic—especially with the introduction of San Fransokyo Street, a vibrant family entertainment area inspired by the action-packed world of Disney’s Big Hero 6.
If you’ve ever wondered what a mash-up of San Francisco and Tokyo would look like, this is your chance to experience it firsthand. Picture yourself strolling down a bustling street filled with elaborate storefronts—some real, some straight out of the imagination. The sights, sounds, and even the smells will transport you into a bustling cityscape. And we’re not talking about just shopping here; there’s a lineup of interactive games, shops, and even a cinema that’ll have something for everyone in the family.
Big Hero Arcade: Ready to Level Up?
At one end of San Fransokyo Street, you’ll find the Big Hero Arcade—not your typical arcade, but a high-tech gaming lounge where you can put your hero skills to the test. This space will be packed with video games, virtual experiences, and—wait for it—a chance to meet Baymax, everyone’s favorite huggable healthcare robot! Imagine walking through an industrial railway underpass covered in street art and stepping into a back-alley district where the action comes to life. Yep, it’s as cool as it sounds.
There are also themed gaming garages based on the Big Hero 6 crew, like Super Fred Kaiju Chaos—where you can virtually throw on Fred’s battle suit and race through city streets. And for speed demons, Go Go Racers will challenge you to keep up with Go Go Tomago’s rapid rhythm game. You’ll also find Honey Lemon Chem-Ball Blast (yes, chemistry can be fun!) and Wasabi Speed Slice, a plasma blade game that’ll have you swinging your arms like a true hero.
But the real highlight? The Hiro Training Zone, an immersive experience created by boy genius Hiro Hamada himself. Groups of four can team up to run, dodge, and block their way across a futuristic gaming floor, showing off their best hero moves.
Baymax is Coming!
And speaking of Baymax, fans will have the chance to meet him in person (robot?) at the arcade throughout the cruise. Whether you’re after a healthcare scan or just a classic “bah-a-la-la-la” fist bump, you’ll know Baymax is near when you hear him inflating and powering up behind the garage door. It’s going to be adorable, and we’re totally here for it.
San Fransokyo Street Highlights
Aside from the arcade action, San Fransokyo Street will also feature a trolley stop and a cable car lounge where you can relax in between adventures. Fashionable shops, a street stand café, and the Baymax Cinemas will keep the excitement going with new and classic Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm movies playing all day long.
Need a snack while you catch a flick? Pop by Alley Cat Café, modeled after Aunt Cass’s bistro in Big Hero 6. Grab some cinema snacks like fizzy sodas, espresso drinks, and all your popcorn and candy favorites.
And here’s a cool tidbit for the younger adventurers: Hidden behind Vibe Records and Edge of the Bay Café, the ship will feature exclusive hangout spaces for teens and tweens. Vibe is for those aged 14 to 17, and it’s the perfect spot to chill, make new friends, and catch some movies. Meanwhile, Edge will be the go-to clubhouse for tweens, where fun, games, and friendships are waiting.
