Royal Caribbean is bringing us another jaw-dropping, record-breaking cruise experience with the Legend of the Seas, the third ship in the revolutionary Icon Class lineup. If you thought Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas were game-changers, just wait—because this legend is heading to some of the most stunning destinations in the world, and it all begins in summer 2026!

Where is Legend of the Seas Sailing?
Before making her grand Caribbean debut, Legend of the Seas will spend her first season cruising the Mediterranean. Starting in July 2026, she’ll embark on 7-night Western Mediterranean adventures from Barcelona, making stops at destinations across France, Italy, and Spain.
Once the summer fun in Europe wraps up, Legend of the Seas will head to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November 2026 to kick off a new era of Caribbean cruising. She’ll sail:
- 6-night Western Caribbean cruises
- 8-night Southern Caribbean voyages
And the best part? Every single itinerary includes a stop at Royal Caribbean’s private island paradise, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
A Ship Worthy of Its Name
What makes Legend of the Seas legendary? For starters, it’s bringing back everything we love about the Icon Class ships—plus more.
- Thrills? You got it. Tackle Crown’s Edge, part skywalk, part ropes course, and part “Am I really doing this?!” thrill ride.
- Pools for every vibe? There are seven, including the largest pool at sea, Royal Bay, and the infinity-edge Hideaway Pool just for adults.
- The largest waterpark at sea? Yep, Category 6 is back with slides that will make your heart race.
- Surfside for young families? Absolutely—it’s the perfect spot for little cruisers (and their grown-ups) to have nonstop fun.
- Dining and drinks? Over 40 venues mean you’ll never run out of delicious things to try.
Legend of the Seas is also leading the charge in eco-friendly cruising. Powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and equipped with cutting-edge sustainability programs, she’s taking Royal Caribbean one step closer to its goal of a net-zero cruise ship by 2035.
If you’re already dreaming of sipping a cocktail in the infinity pool while sailing into a Caribbean sunset, you’re not alone. Bookings for Legend of the Seas open soon, with Crown & Anchor Society members getting early access before February 20, 2025.
