Today’s announcements about Disney Adventure, the upcoming ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, unveiled some exciting details that are sure to thrill Marvel fans. The ship, set to sail from Singapore in December 2025, will debut an all-new upper deck attraction zone called Marvel Landing. This area promises Avengers-level adventures, with three brand-new attractions featuring iconic Marvel characters and stories.
Marvel Landing will be a first-of-its-kind experience on a Disney ship, taking design inspiration straight from the Marvel universe. Imagine Tony Stark’s sleek, tech-driven aesthetic combined with vibrant murals of heroes like Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Black Panther—it’s like walking into a Marvel movie set. But the real excitement is what awaits guests with its three headline attractions.
The highlight of the experience is the Ironcycle Test Run, which boasts the longest roller coaster at sea, clocking in at over 820 feet of track. Sound familiar? That’s because this ride looks remarkably like the roller coaster seen on Carnival Cruise Line’s Excel-class ships (Celebration, Mardi Gras, Jubilee), manufactured by Mauer Rides. But Disney is giving it their own Marvel twist. Riders will hop into two-seater vehicles designed after Iron Man’s iconic red-and-gold suit and zoom around a high-speed circuit 30 feet above the upper deck. As if the rush of the ride itself wasn’t enough, you’ll get a virtual driving lesson from Tony Stark’s assistant, F.R.I.D.A.Y., as you test out the latest Ironcycle prototype.
Next up is the Pym Quantum Racers, where guests will step into oversized toy cars inspired by the car chase scene from Ant-Man and The Wasp. Expect a wacky ride through a toy-filled track, navigating obstacles that have been either blown up to enormous sizes or shrunk to tiny proportions. It’s pure fun for fans of Marvel’s quirky Pym technology, with plenty of twists and turns that’ll keep you guessing.
And if spinning rides are more your speed, Groot Galaxy Spin will let you take flight in your own Nova Corp Bass Jumper vehicle, with the ability to lift and drop as you zoom around the deck. With Guardians of the Galaxy’s awesome mixtape soundtrack blasting in the background and Groot’s playful energy at the center of it all, this ride is set to be a fan favorite.
But it’s not all action-packed thrills. The Infinity Pool and Bar at the aft of the ship offers the perfect retreat for those who need a break from saving the day. With panoramic ocean views, comfy sun loungers, and snacks fit for a superhero, it’s the ideal spot to refuel. Plus, in true Marvel fashion, the design features subtle nods to the Infinity Stones, making it a stylish and relaxing oasis between your heroic adventures.
The Disney Adventure is shaping up to be an epic experience, especially for Marvel lovers who want to immerse themselves in their favorite superhero stories while cruising the seas. With its innovative rides and stunning Marvel-themed decor, it’s sure to bring out the inner hero in every guest.
