Margaritaville at Sea is getting ready to set sail with its third and largest ship, the Beachcomber, and they just shared a peek at what the ship will look like when it is welcomed into the fleet in late 2026. Currently known as the Costa Fortuna, this vessel will join its sister ships, the Paradise and the Islander, in delivering the laid-back, island-inspired experience that has become synonymous with the Margaritaville brand.
At over 100,000 gross tons, the Beachcomber will be the largest ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet. According to the line, the ship’s design draws inspiration from nostalgic beach scenes and vintage surf art, featuring a color palette of breezy blues, sunlit yellows, and warm beachy tones. This aesthetic builds on the style introduced with the Islander in 2024.

The Beachcomber will offer a mix of fan-favorite experiences and new experiences including iconic Margaritaville venues like 5 o’Clock Somewhere, Hemisphere Dancer, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and License to Chill. Alongside these, the ship will introduce more than 15 brand-new experiences exclusive to the Beachcomber.
The Beachcomber joins a fleet which consists of one of the oldest cruise ships, Margaritaville at Sea Paradise, the cruise line’s maiden vessel, which sails from the Port of Palm Beach, Florida, offering short getaways to destinations like Grand Bahama Island, Nassau, and Key West. The Margaritaville at Sea Islander, the fleet’s second ship, sails from Port Tampa Bay and was also a former Costa ship, the Costa Atlantica. The Islander offers longer itineraries to destinations like Cozumel, Progreso, Belize, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman.
Margaritaville at Sea expects to launch the Beachcomber in late 2026 and its anticipated, yet not officially announced, the ship will sail from Galveston, TX. Beachcomber will have more than 1,340 staterooms, 13 passenger decks, an 8-story center atrium, and will accommodate nearly 3,500 passengers.
