History of the Disney Adventure
Here’s a fun twist in the story of the Disney Adventure – this ship wasn’t originally built for Disney! In fact, it started its life under a completely different cruise line. Disney Cruise Line purchased the ship a few years ago and has since been hard at work transforming it into the magical floating wonderland we’ll soon see setting sail.
Originally part of the Global Dream project, the ship was designed to be one of the largest and most advanced cruise ships out there, but the project hit some financial bumps along the way. Enter Disney Cruise Line. They swooped in and saw the potential to give this massive ship a new lease on life – Disney style, of course! Now, the ship has been completely reimagined with all the charm, whimsy, and high-tech wizardry Disney is known for.
