Here are some frequently asked questions that can help you make the right decision.

What is the daily alcoholic drink limit on Cunard?

Guests with the Beverage Collection or Premium Beverage Collection are limited to 15 alcoholic drinks per 24-hour period. The limit resets daily at 6:00 AM. All non-alcoholic beverages included in these collections are unlimited.

Is the basic Alcohol-Free Collection unlimited?

No. The standard Alcohol-Free Collection, priced at $18 per day, is limited to 15 non-alcoholic drinks and gelato servings per 24-hour period. The Premium Alcohol-Free Collection, priced at $40.50 or more per day, is fully unlimited.

Does every adult in the cabin have to buy the same drink collection?

In most cases, yes. If one adult purchases a drink collection, all other adults in the same stateroom are required to purchase the exact same collection. The applicable age requirement is 18 or 21 depending on the sailing region.

Are there medical or pregnancy exceptions to the cabin rule?

Yes. Cunard does allow exceptions for guests who are pregnant or have medical conditions that prevent alcohol consumption. In these cases, the other adult may purchase an Alcohol-Free or Premium Alcohol-Free Collection instead of an alcoholic package.

Can I use my drink collection for room service or the mini-bar?

No. All Cunard drink collections exclude beverages ordered through Room Service, items from the in-cabin mini-bar, and drinks purchased in onboard shops. These items are charged at standard menu prices.

Is the 15% gratuity already included in the daily package price?

Yes. A 15% service charge is already included in the advertised daily price of all drink collections. For individual Pay As You Go purchases, the 15% service charge is added to each bar bill.

How does the Pay the Difference feature work?

If you order a drink that exceeds your package limit, you only pay the price difference. The thresholds are $13.50 for the Beverage Collection and $20.00 for the Premium Beverage Collection. A 15% service charge is applied only to the price difference.

Can I buy a round of drinks for friends using my package?

You can purchase a round, but only one drink will be covered by your collection. Any additional drinks in the round will be charged to your onboard account at full menu price.

Is there a waiting period between drinks on Cunard?

Yes. Guests must wait at least 10 minutes between ordering included beverages. This rule is enforced to prevent sharing of drink packages.

Can I use onboard credit to purchase a drink collection?

Yes, but only when purchasing onboard at the higher daily rate. Onboard Credit cannot be applied to discounted pre-cruise drink collections purchased through My Cunard.

Are smoothies and milkshakes included on all Cunard ships?

No. Smoothies and milkshakes, which are included in Premium drink collections, are currently only available on Queen Anne and Queen Elizabeth.

What is the refund policy for Cunard drink collections?

Pre-purchased drink collections are fully refundable up to three days before departure. Once the voyage begins, drink collections are non-refundable.

Can I use my drink collection on disembarkation day?

No. Cunard drink collections are not valid for use on the day of disembarkation.
