If you’re sailing with Carnival over Easter in 2026, here’s a look at what will be served in the main dining room for the holiday. It has a pretty good mix of traditional Easter favorites along with Carnival’s usual dining room options.

For a lot of families, spending Easter at sea means skipping the stress of cooking, cleaning, and dealing with relatives you wish went to Aunt Sally’s, while still getting a holiday meal and a little bit of that special occasion feel. Cruise lines know people want more than just a regular dinner on a holiday, so themed menus like this usually make an appearance.

Carnival’s featured Easter picks include deviled eggs, lobster and shrimp bisque, maple-clove spiced baked Virginia ham, cranberry-orange glazed roast duck, and a spiced Easter parfait for dessert. Beyond that, the menu also includes starters like low country crab dip, beef short rib and cheese arancini, shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, and spinach and ricotta ravioli.

For entrees, there are plenty of non-holiday options too, including grilled jumbo shrimp, pecan crusted salmon, duet of lamb, grilled filet mignon, a feta filo tart, and Carnival’s featured Indian vegetarian dish. The steakhouse selections are also available for an upcharge if you want to go that route instead.

Dessert options include carrot cake, Carnival melting chocolate cake, mile-high gelato pie, fresh tropical fruit, ice cream and sherbet, and a cheese plate.

If you’re cruising over Easter, this gives you a good idea of what Carnival will be serving for the holiday. I’ll actually be spending Easter at sea myself this year aboard Holland America Line’s Koningsdam, and once their Easter menu is available, I’ll be sure to post that too.
