Ocean Liner · 149,000+ Gross Tons · Purpose-Built
Queen Mary 2
Launched 2004Ocean Liner · Southampton / New York
Serving as the flagship of the Cunard Line since 2004, she is incredibly unique as the only active, purpose-built ocean liner still in service today. Designed specifically for rough transatlantic crossings, she features a maximum speed of 30 knots, integrated electric propulsion, 40% more steel than a standard cruise ship, and the very first planetarium at sea.
✦ Notable History
She was constructed to replace the aging Queen Elizabeth 2. Her final stages of construction in late 2003 were unfortunately marred by a tragic gangway collapse at the French shipyard. She was officially christened by Queen Elizabeth II in January 2004 and was conferred the historic RMS (Royal Mail Ship) prefix.
Pinnacle Class · 113,000 Gross Tons
Queen Anne
Launched 2024Pinnacle Class · Southampton, UK
The newest Queen in the Cunard fleet, debuting as the 249th ship in the company's long history. Built as a Pinnacle-class ship (a platform shared with Holland America Line), she is currently the second largest vessel in Cunard's fleet behind the QM2. She brings a modernized yet classic aesthetic to the brand, featuring six grand suites named after famous Cunard waterways.
✦ Notable History
She sailed her maiden voyage on May 3, 2024, from Southampton to Lisbon. In a break from usual Cunard traditions, she was officially christened in Liverpool in June 2024 by the city itself, acting as the ship's official godmother.
Vista Class · 90,000+ Gross Tons
Queen Elizabeth
Launched 2010Vista Class · Various
A modified Vista-class cruise ship, she brings a steeper stern and a slightly higher passenger capacity than her sister ship, Queen Victoria. While not a traditional ocean liner, her bow was constructed with heavier plating and a high freeboard to cope with transatlantic runs.
✦ Notable History
She sailed her maiden voyage in October 2010. In June 2012, she famously met up with her fleetmates Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria in Southampton to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

At just over 90,000 gross tons, she is currently the smallest of Cunard's active ships. Built as a hybrid Vista-class ship, she blends the classic Cunard experience with modern cruising amenities. Eighty-five percent of her staterooms have ocean views, and she features an extensive use of glass in her superstructure.
✦ Notable History
She embarked on her maiden voyage to northern Europe in December 2007. Shortly after, she embarked on her first world cruise, successfully circumnavigating the globe in 107 days.
