Excitement is starting to build as MSC’s new ship, MSC Seaside, is less than a year away from making her debut in Miami for year-round cruises to the Caribbean.
The 4,140 passenger ship is currently under construction and is set to sail from PortMiami on December 21, 2017. She will join MSC Divina, which has been sailing the Caribbean since November 2013, and offers year-round cruises from the Sunshine State. But how long with MSC keep two ships in Miami?
About three months.
While MSC Seaside will remain in Miami for 2018, Divina will be taking a break. On March 8, 2018, the Divina leaves Miami and heads for Genoa, Italy on a 21 day repositioning cruise. She will be offering seven day cruises from Rome, Valencia, and Marseille during the summer before returning to Miami a few months later to sail the winter 2018-2019 season in the Caribbean.
I’ve sailed on Divina three times. Be sure to read all my reviews of the ship by clicking here. And don’t forget what else is coming soon! MSC’s private island Ocean Cay is under construction. Read more about this island paradise coming soon by clicking here.
